Solid QB play will squash those notions that we're 18 or lower. At this point, I don't blame (or praise for that matter) ANY "preseason poll"--especially one made out in April. Lots can change over the summer. Some programs will become even better (which I hope we're in that category), and some will get worse (potential injuries, players who are going to be relied heavily on crack under the pressure, etc.)..
Just a note to any one who is thinking of emailing any of the so called experts, including Ivan. Don't use your regular email address if it has any hint of LSU or Louisiana. I actually use one that I amde up that makes it look like I am a Trojan fan. Make you points though you are just a college football fan in general and not at all "pissed" at his ranking, point, opinion, etc. And if you happen to know any of the crybabies that constantly email these guys please tell them to do this as well.
