I think had TM7 stayed clean he would have won the Heisman. He had the maruqee plays in the punt returns. His name was marred by the suspension, then it took him two games to get back to playing his style of football. You add those games to his resume and the fact LSU was the consensus number one on the verge of an all time great year. TM7 wins the Heisman. I can see and accept either Manziel or Teo winning the award, both are deserving. I think if K-State is unbeaten Klein gets it. When it comes to pure value, he is the most valuable.
This coming from a Bama fan? Lol. Do you really think Ingram deserved the Heisman more than Te'o? And to be fair to T'eo, he was one of the most, if not the most decorated, high school defensive players in American high school history I thought he was going to USC to be their next great megastar LB....USC seemed perfect for this Polynesian Mormom from Hawaii, and USC had just come off 7 straight Pac Ten titles, and 7 straight Top 4 finishes ... USC had just had two LBs named All-Americans....Rey Maualuga, Brian Cushing...one the year before... Keith Rivers...one the year before that... Keith Rivers again...this was back in the Pete Carroll days before the s-word hit the fan And T'eo surprised everybody, and crushed USC fans (i was trolling the big USC forum at the time), by deciding to go to USC's rival, who was a mediocre program coached by Charlie Weis So that is one thing I'll always remember fondly about T'eo
What the hell? Manziel threw damn near 60 passes against #6 LSU, he threw 3 INTs, was 29 of 56 for 276 yards. He sucked badly. A "Biggest game", is one when the SEC title is still possible. Manziel blew that chance against LSU. It's fine that you want to toss TM7 under the bus, because you don't like him, but keep it real. Against Bama in the BCS, TM7 had 6 tackles, 2 pass breakups & 1 TFL. http://www.lsusports.net/fls/5200/assets/docs/fb/11stats/ls14.htm#GAME.DEF RGIII as a replacement pick for TM7, everyone in New York City knew it too.
The BSC title game was one of the worst performances of his career, he even publically apologized for having such a bad game on his Twitter. But, it doesn't really matter, that was after the Heisman had already been awarded. As for keeping it real, i don't see how anybody in their right mind thinks TM7 deserved the Heisman last year, he was lucky to have even been invited to New York, and probably shouldn't have been. Look at the votes... Total Votes Player School 1st 2nd 3rd Total Points 1. Robert Griffin III Baylor 405 168 136 1,687 2. Andrew Luck Stanford 247 250 166 1,407 3. Trent Richardson Alabama 138 207 150 978 4. Montee Ball Wisconsin 22 83 116 348 5. Tyrann Mathieu Louisiana State 34 63 99 327
Seriously? You don't see how he deserved it? Okay here you go, watch the video and realize it's 1 years worth
To further go along with this, while you're watching realize he made the extraordinary look ordinary, so maybe that's why you don't think he's that great. How often are you seeing guys deflect a pass up in the air, catch it almost at full stride and take off? How many guys rip a fumble out of a guy and catch it in mid air? How many guys don't fuck up the scoop up the fumble on the ground and keep running? Like Les's quote, a lot of people have 1-2 of those plays a year. There were times he had 1-2 of them a game.

This is some funny shyt. I can understand why the thread went the wrong direction since its title is, well, the title; however, TCUtiger, I think, was aiming for sumpin else.
You are so very right..............I think it's the world we live in now. Then again, it's also Dec 7th, we bury almost 5K WWII vets a day now, it won't be long till there are none. I thank everyone of them I see these days.........it won't be long till I can't.
