They will make it one though. Do you honestly think that if they did game day here they wouldn't do a piece on the affects of Katrina on the team and local community. I'm sorry but you are really underestimating the media on this one.
By the Tower? I was at the OSU gameday set and it was on the parade grounds I think they call it, on an open field.
Here are the questions.. Do they take LSU vs. Tenn or do they take this as their oppurtunity to go to V-Tech? If so, then if they want to go to LSU vs. Florida, they will miss USC vs. ND, which to me has lost some of its luster, but is still a media favorite. This will only payoff if ND can beat Purdue (they should beat Washington). I think it will be ut at LSU, nd at Purdue, OU(despite the record) at Texas, SoCal at ND, Purdue at Wisconsin, Cocktail party, Nov. 5 is a tough call because the Top game is UT at ND or Pitt at Louisville but thats thursday, Arizona St at UCLA, OSU at Oregon, FSU at UF...
After the whole on-air crew openly saying they thought they were going to Gainesville last week, I think it's pretty clear they have no say in the matter. I think it's going to be either in Baton Rouge, Eugene or Blacksburg. My guess is Eugene. Despite being on the west coast and having a pretty weak home schedule, USC is ranked #1 after all...and they should get at least one token week out there. When else are they going to go? USC-UCLA? But who knows, I think going to Boston College threw a lot of people for a loop, unless they knew where ESPN was headquartered.
The Oregonian (Portland newspaper) today said they picked up LSU v UT. Dont know why y'all dont know. There was interest here because UO v USC was a possibility.
