Does anyone know when and where they will make the announcement about where they will be next week? Hanagrif expects them to choose LSU-Ga.
All I know is that they are supposed to announce the site today. I'm ready for them to come down here. Good pub. for LSU and a helluva lot of fun as well. Geaux Tigers, beat the Dawgs!!
If I'm not mistaken, didn't they go to that game last year or the year before? How could that be better than a possible preview of the SEC championship? Both favorites in their divisions, both undefeated.
I know they love the gators and vols, but what a snub if they do chose them over LSU/Georgia. Two undefeated teams and both in the top ten in their own poll.
Why the big concern? It's a talking heads sports show with very little information, unless you consider the opinion of a has been coach and Big 10 mouthpiece the epicenter of sports news. Besides, the last time they were here some LSU fans lived up to our reputation of classless, boorish and dangerous behavior by throwing something at "the crew". It wasn't an Auburnesque urine bag either. Whether Corso, Herbstreit and company are here or not will not determine if we beat UGA on the field across the street. If they do come I hope the trailer trash can be kept away. Heaven knows the national TV producers, directors and cameramen are always on the lockout for the sterotypical Southern hick to validate their smug, conceited view of anything Northern (Big 10) or left coast being best.
Georgia site says CBS for game The Georgia site Dawgpost.com is talking about ESPN snubbing them and CBS picking up the game. Does anyone know for sure??
