He was very DEFINITE in his statement that LSU was the best team. No if, ands or buts kinda tone to it.

He wouldn't be invited by ESPN Gameday.

I don't have an issue with Saban saying whatever he is going to say.

I have a real issue with ESPN giving him a platform on national TV on a program that is VERY popular.

    Ramah,
why do you blast saban for doing his job?
Look, I hate bama and think saban screwed us bigtime.
There is no love for saban or bama in my purple heart.

He is doing what he must for his team. When a man swallows his pride in front of millions, hell, tens of millions of people for his team, you gotta respect that.

Why not? He's done one or more promo for ESPN the last couple of years.

because he doesn't think he's being genuine

and on a certain level, he definitely isn't

You think he believes we're definitely the best team in the nation? Hell no.

It's amusing to me how NS still evokes such sophomoric emotion out of some of you. He's doing his job. As to ESPN having him on, if the roles were reversed, they would have Miles on. They are doing their job. Saban left here a long time ago. Move on.

I also heard college gameday on ESPN radio and I noticed how many LSU fans I heard. When Desmond and Pollack picked LSU I hear just as many cheers as boos, maybe more. Nice to hear the Tiger faithful representing. Way to go Tiger Nation!

What a bunch of garbage. ESPN should be ashamed. Fowler smirking at the mention of OSU or anyone else's Crystal game chances while trying to crawl into Nickie's lap. And Saban's body language and expression at the close when he said the BCS was about the two best teams - sad to see a grown man beg. C'mon Pokes, put a hundred on the Stoopsters!
