The attitude of fans does get passed on to players; it affects the atmosphere in which our players live their every day lives.

What's the difference between Ole Miss and Alabama beating us? With our conservative tendancies, losing to another SEC team is not such a crazy idea. I have the right to bring my opinion to the table as much as you do.

I'm not saying its something that shouldn't be talked about, I understand that's a topic of interest among fans. But giving your opponent no credit irks me. How many years have we dropped the ball against lesser opponents, specifically Ole Miss and Arkansas? And you don't think its a valid topic of discussion? That's your right, but why make any comment at all? Just feel like talking smack? I guess that's your right as well. I will admit that I'm a nerd when it comes to college football, and mostly LSU.

They can, but they won't. Any team vs the Big East champ in the Sugar will suck. I don't see why the BCS committee would move the SEC champ to another bowl ... they will still be stuck with a bad matchup in the Sugar.

The Sugar is last in the rotation this year, so it's just bad timing for us ... assuming we get there.

Maybe we can use the Katrina sympathy card...

West Virginia has a good team this year. They haven't played as tough a schedule as LSU, but played well against Va Tech & Louisville. They have a good coach in Rich Rodriquez. I for one want no part of them. I'd like Penn State or Ohio State.
