Agree. I don't care if UConn, Tenn, Texas, Rutgers, whatever team, that wouldn't matter. Even though Brady is coaching, just the sure speed and quickness of the men's team would be enough, and that's not a knock on women or women's sports.

I've seen this happen on the high school level in practice at a couple of schools. It ain't pretty.

True. But the NFL is now a 'business.' They play for money. Sure they get up for games but I don't believe pro players get up for games like the college players do. ...........for pride.

I can't remember his name but last year there was an NFL player that played
in and won two Super Bowls. He said winning those Super Bowls was nowhere close to the exhiliration he felt as when he played for Michigan and beat Ohio State.

To refer to an ancient saying: "Free men fight better than slaves."

Very, very true. Except I imagine those NFL players might play for pride & with heart if they were up against a college team that the media said could beat them.

Jim Rome disgusted me the other night too on ESPN. He was talking about Auburn should be happy that they didn't play in the Orange Bowl because they would have been embarrassed.

The only reason ESPN and co are talking so highly of USC is the way they beat OU. They beat OU b/c their secondary has sucked all season and leak like buste faucet. Look at the season OU had and the passing yards they gave up. USC is west coast passing offense and OU's defense is not made for that. It was a match up of outstanding passing offense agains a bad passing defense. It inflated the score because of this and therefore made USC look much better than they are. I think the secondary and the defense schemes of Auburn would have handled the USC offense much better. Would AU beat USC, I don't know, but it would've been a much better game and USC wouldn't be hailed they way they are now.

Remember when Stoops in November was all up in arms b/c ESPN was talking highly of AU and he commented that it should be known that ESPN has contracts with ESPN and that should be taken into account. He should've been complaining about the media's love fest with USC, who in my opinion had a cake walk schedule and barely got by some mediocre teams.

Unfortunately we will have to sit through another year with USC being on top all year and never budging. Lets just hope that whoever plays them in the NC game whallups them.
