That Saban and Sexton are asking for more money from Miami.

I heard this just 25 minutes ago driving back home.

If this is indeed the truth, and the deal falls apart, LSU will not have to worry about the NFL courting our head coach in the very near future.

This will leave a bitter taste with the NFL.

Good for LSU. So I hope this one is true.

The offer reported in the media yesterday was exaggerated.

The last thing I heard the ESPN Radio guy say before he signed off at noon, was that Saban was obviously not interested in going to Miami.....he sounded pretty negative towards Saban in fact.

I hope Saban isn't asking LSU for more money too.

i still have a feeling its not about money, its still about control. there still hasn't been any official release saying exactly what control he would get, its only been rumors of control and money. but then again, if the dolphins made the offer they must have known saban would accept it right? i would think from day one miami hasn't offered saban what he asked for and they know it.

I couldn't care less what they think. I am just reporting what I heard.

Or it could be a way for Nick to "save face" for turning down the opportunity of a lifetime by forcing the Dolphins to withdraw their offer to him if they think they've offered him enough already.

Ok, I admit, that scenario may be a little far-fetched, but it would offer Saban an "out" if he wanted to decline the offer and shift the burden back to the Dolphins for not offering enough.
