Truthfully, it's a great strategy--Les gets the rep as working with and deferring to his strong coordinators, and in turn LSU (as a perennial power in a talent-rich state) gets pegged as a top destination for talented coaches looking to get exposure and a path to future good coaching gigs. Crowton's Louisiana ties is also a boost recruting-wise, especially in an area (N Louisiana, NE Texas, etc.) where LSU wants to continue to develop a presence. Nice hire, Les.
