ESPN just announced their 25 Year All-Star team for college basketball - 5 players chosen from each conference. In the SEC, 2 LSU Tigers were selected. In case you have been living in the Middle East for the last 25 years, it was Shaq and Chris Jackson. Great honor! The others were Mashburn, Allan Houston and I forget the 5th player. Dominique Wilkins and Charles Barkley not selected. Congrats to Shaq and CJ. I hope we can place 4 on the 50th Anniversary Team...
How in the hell was Chuck Person selected over the Round Mound of Rebound? I can understand Mash because he was frickin' clutch when he was with UK. Barkley The Round Mound was a center at Auburn, so they probably picked Shaq over him. Person was a great shooting guard at Auburn and was their only threat his final year (I think he ended up second in points his senior year to one of the LMU guys).
