The real amazing thing about Trindon....he goes to LSU camp, not even invited...runs a 4.28 40 in Basketball Hightops! are you kidding me?!
And the coaches freak out and think they started there stop-watch too soon...so he runs a 4.27 40 right after the 4.28. unreal

You just gotta believe Trindon is gonna be returning kicks in the NFL one day.

As much as I get fired up watching him... there's NO WAY I could imagine him returning kicks in the NFL. I just think he would get KILLED at that level.

About every 10 years there is someone his size and speed that makes it in the NFL for about 5 years. The players in the NFL are so big that he can just run by most of them. You are right, too many big time hits will take its toll on his body. Trindon is tuff.

I don't know about the NFL; I would hate to see him get hurt. I cringe when he gets hit @ this level--though he seems to take them well.

He may, however, want to try professional track on for size (no pun intended.)

That would seem to be the best path for him. He's already at 10.02 for the 100m dash, which is already world class. Soon he will be under 10 seconds and will hopefully qualify for the Olympics or something like that. We could always use more tracksters representing LSU like the X-man.

Yep--and soon, too. He won't have that speed forever. He'll peak in his early 20's, so track is the best pro shot for him. When he loses his world class speed, he might still make a return specialist in the NFL or CFL, but he needs to hit the track first. I wouldn't be surprised if he does it next spring.

    Holliday in the NFL

I got into this discussion with my buddy, how many of you think Holliday could play at the next level.

I think he could for this reason. Anything moving that fast is powerful. He may be 160 soaking wet, but his speed has to translate into the force of something 1 times bigger. Thats why bullets can kill you. He is so small. he's an absolute terror to try and tackelt. Do you'll notice how many tackles he breaks.

I'm not saying he'll be an all pro, but If I waas running an NFL team, i'd certainly draft him, despite how small he is.

Plus, if you can do it in the SEC, that probably as close to an NFL typ atmosphere, with PRo type, players as you can get.

I think he could possibly return kicks in the NFL, and little else.
