So Francis blew Tub-of-Chit's fence down. It must have been some strong wind to blow down an electric fence. Wonder if his trailor was damaged?
I'd rather play this weekend but if it bothers them this bad, I hope they postpone it    TIGRRR Registered User Posts: 442 (9/13/04 4:25:47 pm ) Reply Housel's response to the LSU rep about postponement... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Postpo....what?!? Are you kiddin' young man? This is war. This ain't no game we're talkin' about here. You think those brave men were concerned about a little storm when they came ashore on the beaches of Normandy? Huh? You still there? We're not postponing anything. Besides, any soldier worth his salt looks forward to braving the elements every once in a while. Not only are we gonna go to war Saturday-we're gonna win. But you see, that's just one battle, there's a larger war going on that we plan to win. Students are coming to Auburn at a higher rate than ever, many of them from your state of Louisiana. Our goal for 2012 is to have more Louisiana born students attending Auburn than attending LSU. We will not stop until we have painted the state of Louisiana orange and blue! Now what was that about a postponement? That's what I thought. We'll see y'all in the trenches Saturday. And while you're at it, bring some fresh MREs to my foxhole if you would. My latest supply has about run out.
ANY comparison of sports to war in these times is utterly classless. :dis: Try comparing sports to war to someone who has recently lost a loved one overseas in the fighting fields. It's NOT REAL FUNNY. The ONLY POSSIBLE exception would be Pat Tillman stories. :usaflagwa :usaflagwa :usaflagwa :usaflagwa :usaflagwa :usaflagwa
...and folks wonder why we HATE this guy so much... ...WHAT AN ARROGANT POMPOUS @SS! I just wanted a win before but now I hope we HUMILIATE this HOMO!
"LSU is worried about their fans and players"... (Implying that he ISN'T worried for AU fans & players) ...to ME that's like he is calling us out because AU's fans and players AREN'T mentioned - it's ALMOST as if he is calling us chicken... ...sometimes it's not what you say - but what you DON'T say... And the ARROGANCE of saying "we'll play on Sunday"... ...yeah right... CBS helps to pay his salary! Who th' HELL does dude think he is???? Oh that's right - TUBBY THE @SS... :dis: Nevermind.
I heard something briefly mentioned over the weekend about how Tubby praised Croom and took a couple of last jabs at Sherrill by comparing the current Miss St staff to the last one. I was just curious if any of the Auburn folk had any direct quotes of Tubby's about Sherrill (from this past week).
Normandy?? Are you seriously comparing LSU/ Auburn football to WWII? I guess that I shouldn't be surprised that an Auburn fan cannot say anything more intelligent. A comparison of war to football is like comparing Reese Witherspoon to Ru Paul, not to mention the most inane thing I've heard aside from John Kerry thinking he might become president. Let's face it, you think that Auburn is just entitled to win against LSU, just because you're "due." Whenever LSU beats you, it's some kind of fluke or injustice. Just like JFKII thinking he's just entitled to the Presidency of the United States even though he has no talent or qualifications. The only thing you should be looking forward to in 2012 is Tiger Tubberville getting another job. Coaching is not exactly Auburn's strong point these days. Louisiana will be blue and orange only if a Kool-aid tanker runs aground off the New Orleans coast. Why would any Louisiana talent go to Auburn when they could stay in state and play for the best coach in NCAA football, and receive much superior academics (as evidenced by your WWII/ football comparison.) Thanks for your time Sincerely, another stupid LSU Tiger
