I've been to NOLA. Never had even one moment where I felt unsafe.

The bruin crowd at this year's game against utla at the Rose Bowl was one of the most uncivil, rowdy, and drunk that I've ever seen. I got threatened, yelled at, spit at, and a few threw bottles at our feet. That's the most unsafe I've ever felt and a USC fan lost his eye after he got slashed with a broken beer bottle.

The point is, bad people are everywhere, not just in some cities. My last trip to Chicago for the nd game included a cab ride from a driver who had no idea how to navigate his own flippin' city. By the time we drove past Cabrini Green, I was wondering if I'd ever see Cali again.

I was kidding with the K. Williams bit, but other than that, me and homeboy seem to be on the same page as far as McFadden then Colt Brennan.

I just wish we didn't have to wait a year for Damian Williams to play. He looks incredible.

    Oh, come on...

You were seriously threatened by a bunch of effete, Westwood pansies but you never felt threatened in NOLA? NOLA is a city spiraling out of control, where its the homicide capital of the US and the murder rate is 10X the national average. While the murder rate is dropping in cities across america, in NOLA, its going up. Maybe, you felt comfortable in NOLA because SC is in a ghetto, but I would certainly not view NOLA as safe as any other city.

Well, yes. As a female, I feel threatened any time a drunk person gets within a foot of my face yelling and screaming while waving an empty bottle around. That didn't happen to me in NOLA, but it did in Pasadena.

I guess you may have missed Katrina. I'd say that there are underlying reasons for some of the tough issues the people in impacted areas are facing.

Maybe you think South Bend is safe. I suppose Anthony Davis' 6 touchdowns against the irish in 1972 are why he arrived to your campus in 1973 to see himself being hanged in effigy from several trees. I'm sure he felt real safe. Too bad he didn't get scared though cause he scored 4 more TD's in 1974 when we beat you down 55-24. A.D. is "The Notre Dame Killer".

bitter, it's not saying much but you're only slightly less annoying when you talk about football so I'd go with that from now on. And just in case you were confused, this is a real ghetto. Ignorance can be bliss but it's not highly valued.
