Texas A&M lost to Texas tonight 27-25 on a last second FG. 5th time this season A&M has lost after having a double digit lead, and also having a 2 score lead at the half. Bad blow for Arkansas in the scenario discussed in this thread.
Hopefully that does not happen, but I think Edwards is right. Once more, if we beat Arkansas we go to the National Championship Game no matter what happens in Atlanta. Which is why we have to beat Arkansas.
I have heard from my arky cousins and from many arky posters that they really believe that if they beat lsu they will play for a bcsnc. Is there any truth at all to this or are they simply stupid. Well they are stupid anyway, are they simply mistaken?

They are stupid and can't begin to comprehend computer polls or anything of the like. They see #3 and a victory and automatically assume they will be either #1 or #2. Most of the morons probably think they will jump all the way to #1. Like in the article written by Brad Edwards he talks about 3 voters with 3 completely different opinions: LSU was 2nd for 2 of the 3 voters, and 1st in the other. The absolute craziest scenario, which I can't see happening at all, has LSU remaining #1 in the BCS, Arkansas jump Bama for #2 in the BCS. Arkansas beats Georgia in the SEC CG and LSU and Arkansas play each other in a rematch.
