ESPN's College GameDay to be in Auburn

    Wow. If this is true, we have three weeks of football, and three times Gameday will be at an SEC venue. That would be awesome!

    ESPN'S College Gameday To Visit Auburn

    AUBURN -- Auburn will host ESPN College GameDay Built By The Home Depot, Saturday, Sept. 18 prior to the Auburn-LSU game. The traveling pre-game show which features ESPN commentators Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Lee Corso, will make its first appearance at Auburn since 1997.

    The last time GameDay visited Auburn was on Oct. 18, 1997 prior to the Florida game. The show was also in Auburn prior to the Nov. 18, 1995 game against Alabama. GameDay was present at the Auburn-Alabama games in Birmingham in 1994 and 1996.

    The GameDay set will be located on the grassy area to the west of the marquee at Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum. The show airs from 9:30 -11 a.m. (CT) Saturday and is televised on ESPN.

    The Auburn-LSU game will be televised by CBS. Kickoff time is slated for 2:30 p.m. at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
