Etling 3 of 25 on 20+ yards, LSU's dink-and-dunk plays right into Saban's hands?

Miles was broken not our players.

 

Bama is beatable. We were hot shit before Miles dumped in the spotlight.

 

I think Etling has room to improve on his intermediate / longer passes. He has only started a few games at this point so it is definitely possible. This would make our offense much more dangerous.

I am a Tiger fan. I realize we have two losses and are unranked. But I will never say we cannot beat Bama in Tiger Stadium.

 

There's no way this guy is for real. This level of stupidly is not possible. If beatbama is legit I feel sorry for his parents! This m'fer makes sling blade look like Stephen Hawking!

 

There is more than one way to spread the defense... If you dink and dunk but throw sideline to sideline you can keep the defense spread out and unable to pack the box. Under Miles LSU threw long a lot but it never seemed to help get the safeties out of the picture on running plays. The short to intermediate complete are what will win games because they are what gets first downs on 3rd and long.

 

They also used it on early downs effectively to get short yardage situations on 2nd and 3rd downs.

 

I think dinking and dunking works well as long as you're moving the chains. It's those pesky incomplete passes and interceptions that get in the way. I'm ok with 4-6 yards per play. That field is only so long.

 

It's going to be both.
