He should open a restaurant and call it Wuerffel House.

I know we're all like "Fuck Florida", but he did win the Heisman Trophy. Yeah, he wasn't a good pro. He's not the first and won't be the last college hero that sucked in the NFL.

But he is FAR AND AWAY more famous for winning the Heisman and the National Championship than he is for his time with the Saints

I agree his fame and notoriety are eternally and most notably tied to his collegiate days under Spurrier at Florida. I enjoyed watching him play at the time despite where he played. Was a good kid and was pleased the Saints drafted him for character alone, though he was picked far too high. That was a Ditka trend, though.

Not sure where you think I suggested otherwise. The local ties, to me, were what would perhaps not be known by all compared to his collegiate career..

Not everyone here follows the NFL and if they do not all are Saints fans.

You know what, after re-reading your post i realized you were saying the thing he was most famous for with the Saints...not the thing he was most famous for in his career.

    Sorry. My bad. Misread that...

And yeah, drafted WAY too early
