Well this sucks bad. But it got me thinking. Do you guys realize the force it takes to break someone's jaw???? Especially when that someone out weighs you by 100 lbs.

This Giddens dude must be a bad mofo. If I were him I would consider the octagon. Well, when I got out of prison that is.

You dont have to be powerful to break someone's jaw, you just have to catch him in the right spot. If he wasnt expecting it, it doesnt help because he didnt instinctly have a chance to clinch his teeth.

OUCH! When that happens you hope you don't have to pick them up off the ground and get a bridge.

Exactly, even a normal powerful person can do that. It's not special. But if both have gotten into a fist fight and Barksdale got beat, then you can make a case for it....:hihi:
btw, I think the only reason Barksdale didnt hit back is he realizes that even 1 punch could get him kicked off the team.

I think what Bhelm meant is it's harder to break the jaw when your teeth are clinched.

That's what I read it to mean too. I was saying if that was the case, he's lucky his teeth weren't knocked out of his head.

Looks like Barksdale was just trying to stop a fight and that is what lead to him getting popped. His jaw is not broken and he is fine.

Well that's good news. I'm glad he doesn't have to endure a wired jaw. Giddens is still a piece of crap.

I would think LSU has more than sufficient grounds for expelling Giddons. If he wants to sue, then let him sue.
