1. Tirk, Sweetie, that was simply beautiful...
  2. by your tone, Im assuming bourbon and coke in preparation for the in-laws?

  3. That's all I'm saying.
LSU is the de-Got Dam-fending National Champion and that ought to count for something.

And Stacey: You're killing me. I'm the one who should be called sweetie.
  4. I got a sweetie the other day. I think the effects of your fuzzy hat have worn off. Agreeing with tirk will not supplement no different then trashing her eating habbits!

  5. LSU and Glenn Dorsey were slobbed big time last year, especially after the VT and FLA wins.

As I tend to do, I just laid back and enjoyed it.
  6. Rum and Diet Coke, to be exact, but there is no amount of alcohol that will prepare me for the in-laws, who actually told us that the food we're preparing for them tomorrow night wasn't to their liking, so they want to bring their own. They can knock themselves out; I'm watching some LSU football.

So, even though, these "darling" people live in Dallas, you'll understand why we haven't seen them since May--in Chicago, not Dallas. The only reason we're seeing them tomorrow is the couple that were married in May in Chicago are in town for the weekend.

I believe it'll be double the rum and Diet Coke tomorrow night.

  7. I thought they already did that. :hihi:

But seriously. There is NOTHING else worth talking about west of Autin/Norman (and even they're debatable) when it comes to College Football. You can't "lose" half of the country to dis-interest by telling people that everyone West of the Mississippi is crap.

Question: USC loses to unranked teams twice a year for 3 years, yet are still the "greatest of all time" the next year. OSU loses in back to back National Title games to superior teams and are crap. What gives?

  8. now you're getting it. after it was earned.

we have nothing more to prove to anyone atop the perch.

    except to ourselves.
  9. You have to wonder how high LSU would have been preseason ranked with Perrilloux?

I would guess #2 just behind USC.

I remember a lot of people on here being pretty content with a #6 ranking. I was one of them.
  10. Isnt that when you are supposed to be slobbed over? The point is that they give us credit when credit is due.

I am glad we are not slobbed over before we have earned it. See where that has gotten USC. Many five star recruits year after year and hardly anything to show for it.
