Most mental illnesses cannot be objectively measured with a brain scan.

And since demons are mythical creatures that do not exist, then it follows that demonic possession is also mythical.

I do acknowledge that mental illnesses exist and are sometimes curable by therapy whether it goes by the name of "exorcism", "psychology", or "psychiatry".

that doesnt sound relatively silly at all. almost everyone here believes they can perform telepathy with a grand sorcerer that created the universe via magic. demonic possession is a pretty minor thing to believe. honestly i dunno why mainstreamers would consider this weird while being so eagerly uncritical of the rest of it.

I think it all sounds pretty silly. Still believe it, but zombie Gods and possessive demons and telepathy all sounds wacky.

You just like to make fun of religion. I would think you have great faith in your own intellect to make the decision to be an atheist. You and very few others' opinion against what has been believed for centuries by many. That's a bold decision. In a way I admire your faith, just not your decision.

    Dumb question IMO.

You basically just asked if what people have "faith in" is true.
