The AP is about Ratings IMO. If LSU beats Ole Miss & Arky beats MSU, I would guess the AP voters would want a game on TV with the highest rankings. #9 LSU vs. #6 Arkansas is pretty attractive game, bump 'em up a notch, it's even better. Of course this also applies to the SECCG, and they will want highly ranked teams playing in that. If Arky has the SEC West wrapped up as expected, we could see some more "Controversial" officiating in Little Rock. Everyone will be watching Guilbeau's picks closely anyway in light of recent events. If he's voting LSU #14 while the rest of the AP is voting LSU #8/#9 he'll be outta there quickly.
Huh? So requiring voters to actually see the final score of a game before voting is asking too much? Then on top of that, he comes up with a sorry ass excuse that he couldn't find the score. He got what he deserved.
