florida clearly has more talent than anyone in the east and the scary part is most are really young who are just going to improve as the season progresses and they gain confidence/experience. if we dont sever the head of this gator round 1, I think it will be even harder round 2. gotta stop the swagger before it gets worse. this urban meyer thing could develop into a spurrier type dynasty to some extent. LSU seems the only one able to stop this disgusting thing before it gets out of hand.
I agree with that, for sure. This is the year to do it...we have the 'D' this year...next year? Maybe.
We may never have a d as good as this one but I like what looks to be our lineup for next year and feel comfortable we'll still be strong: Defensive Line (likely lose two starters) ------------------------------------------- DT - Glenn Dorsey ----> Marlon Favorite or Al Woods DE - Tyson Jackson ----> Ricky Jean-Francois or Tremaine Johnson Linebackers (lose two starters) -------------------------------- OLB - Ali Highsmith ----> Perry Riley OLB - Luke Sanders ----> Jacob Cutrera at MLB (with Beckwith moving back to OLB) Defensive Backs (lose three starters) -------------------------------------- CB - Chevis Jackson ----> Chris Hawkins CB - Jonathon Zenon ----> Jai Eugene SS - Craig Steltz ----> Danny McCray
oh i know, I was watching it. they were losing as well. I wouldnt read anything into it though. LSU will allow stupid yardage and let up against someone this year, it happens (maybe). although this smith guy is no fluke it seems. i understand the point though, that espn makes excuses for one team while criticizing another for the same thing in the same sentence. gotta learn to block them out like a yapping female. I love how the ass-waxing of Miami by OU is seemingly legendary. Meanwhile, everyone seems to have forgotten what we did to a much better VT defense.
OU is playing like No. 1 right now. I'm convinced. After how dominating Miami was last night, OU looks just that much better. LSU, USC, and Florida need to step it up.
And the best team left on their schedule (Texas) is VASTLY overrated, and probably doesn't even belong in the top 25. But when OU rapes them, it will be another display of their true dominance. OU had better hope and pray that the other top 4 teams lose a game because, between their recent showings in NC games and their absolute CUSH schedule, they will be on the outside looking in otherwise.
Stars, you were cool when you first came round here, but your underhanded jabs at LSU and bleauxing of Bama on this forum is almost sickening. I like MSU, don't be a blatant prick****.
