With Miles thoughts on the matter leaning heavily towards an easy OOC schedule I would doubt we won't have a few creme puffs every year. With the 12 game schedule and having home and home series we may have to have at least one good game.
In order to "come out ahead" as Skip put it, LSU has to have 7 home games a year. If they schedule any decent teams, those teams will want a home-and-home setup and LSU loses a non-conference homegame. Not going to happen. So either they have to find a merc team like OSU last year, or a d-1AA team. I the solution to all of this would be a rating system for d-1AA teams as opponents for d-1A teams... so that if you play the reigning national champs of d-1AA, it counts for something at least.
I think LSU shouldnt have replaced saban... just let brady and smoke step in... :-\ hey, maybe we could get the harris's and big baby in the game.
