As Keanu Reeves in The Replacements said when asked what he was afraid of ... QUICKSAND.

I agree, he runs too deep, he is almost right next to the rb.

    Here's a hypothetical:

Would LSU be undefeated right now if Jordan Jefferson had started and played in every game?

Yes. Our defense is that good.

4 more games poeple, 4 more. Then this will all be behind us.

Let me ask this (boy I know this is going to sting)

    J. Lee/J. Jeff or Jamie Howard.

I'll have to respectfully disagree with the gentleman from Breaux Bridge. I believe we would've stumbled along the way as we did last year.

Stack the line against JJ and force him to throw. Somewhere down the line it would've burned us with a vanilla offense run by a one-dimensional QB.

    It takes both to win.

Yes, because we have won 10 games with Defense, Special teams and a Running Game

JJ can hit RR in stride just as Lee does.

People who think JJ runs the option poorly don't understand what an option offense is. JJ doesn't always do well on the pitch play around the end that most people identify as the option. When it comes to the zone read JJ is amazing and brings an effective dynamic to the offense.

Which one?. In the only close games the opponent scored 7 and 6 points respectively. Plus we can usually count on the D to put up a few.

Sorry!...but I don't have a crystal ball. I do believe we would've seen more of what we saw in the first half of last week's game. Against WKU...no problem. Against quality SEC teams...problem.

Our defense is awesome as is special teams. With Wing as punter the three & out won't hurt us as much as last season. Even so, you must move the chains and keep the defense on the sideline as much as possible. I haven't seen much progression from JJ in three years so I fear opponents will shut us down if he becomes the starter AND plays the majority of the game.

I still advocate both playing while keeping the defenses guessing. I was asked my opinion and IMHO we couldn't go undefeated with JJ as starter and primary QB. I have three years of watching him play to support my assertions.
