Previously posted by Sourdough Man "Hey, if it was up to me Iran wouldn't exist along with Pakistan and a few others."

To make Iran and Pakistan and a few others not exist would take a very large military effort. As we have learned in Iraq a strong military presence is necessary if nation building is to have a shot. The word "wouldn't" implies the destruction of the regimes there would have already happened, and our military would still be there.

Pakistan is where this disease has started and where it grows but I've always
said that Bin Ladin is in Iran and not Pakistan or Afghanistan.
I do think we still have to take care of Pakistan, they have religious schools
there that teach these people to hate us and love Allah.
It is a gut feeling I have, nothing more but then I found this article today doing a search.

Please remember I've been saying this since the beginning and that I have no
real proof but I strongly believe this!

If this is true, the person that said our troops should be looking for Bin Laden in pakistan and Afghanistan, not a good idea, correct.

Red, I will say even if I turn out to be wrong on Iraq, I'm glad we did it.
It was the right thing to do, we freed a country from a man who butchered,
    killed, genacide, etc.
What is the difference between Bosnia and there situation, the UN and others
got involved and took that leader out, why not Iraq.

Some people say we shouldn't be policeman of the world, I would agree.
Are we hypocrites, what about Rowanda?

So who is the policeman of the world?
It is the UN from what I understand, when are they going to quit their alliances with the wrong people and start doing their jobs?
The UN is failing us and the world once again.
I am for a UN that isn't corrupted, a UN that deals with the other countries of the world, the countries that need a hand or some kind of law enforcement.
The UN shouldn't have anything to do with the countries of the world that can take care of their own such as the USA, Britian, etc.
That would also free up the UN to deal with those situations and countries
    that they need too.

It isn't that far from Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, maybe an hour or two roundtrip.
I said NOTHING about nation building in those countries.
    b-52's,f-15's, f-16's.
I'm for total destruction of certain countries that sponser terrorism, where it
    breeds mainly.
Something similar to Japan in WWII.

Its kinda like when trucks spray an area for insects, the idea is to get rid all
of them at once with the least amount of effort.
