I believe there is a privacy setting in there refering to other websites having access to your information. (Don't know, its why whenever I create an ID for a website, I never admit to being a member of facebook.) What really got me was when i was updating my settings last night, even if you have all your info blocked from anyone but friends, if you don't turn off a specific setting, your friends applications, etc., can access your information through their profile. Be sure to turn that option off as well.
I turn everything off, but FB changes your settings w/o telling you so that all of these sites get your info anyway. Even here on TF, there is an option to log in w/ FB. I have never done that w/ any site, but amazingly enough, I am automatically logged in thru FB on many sites. FB only admits to 3 sites they do this w/, but there are obviously many more. I basically tell it not to share anything, but just make my stuff visible to friends only. I have never used an application on FB that wants to access my info or anything, yet the auto logon persists. Pretty crappy for FB to make it so hard for me to stop them from sharing my info.:cuss:
