http://www.allshakespeare.com/quotes/1171 http://www.bartleby.com/59/6/ladydothprot.html (This last one actually has it in the link...So I guess they're wrong and you're right, and I'm wrong, and so are they, right?) http://www.goenglish.com/ProtestTooMuch.asp I can keep going...but as you can see, I actually did some research myself after I thought you were wrong... ;-)
  Busted. I tried something I learned a long time ago. If you don't know the answer, dazzle 'em with bullsh!t.
SabanFan...What's really bad is that I Googled the other one and you were actually right... So...I guess you're now wrong about being right? Must be hard to confuse yourself so easily.
Look at it this way. With your simple bs comment you caused him to waste a good 10 minutes of his life with research and responses.
"There is no knowledge that is not power." -- Unknown It wasn't a waste...I learned something. I had to borrow SabanFan's old Modus Operandi of using quotes to respond in a bit of an homage, though...
Actually, some other poster used the phrase with the word "dost" last week. I always thought it was "doth", so before posting I googled "dost" and came up with the famed Shakespeare quote so I used it. When you responded that I was wrong, I said "sh!t" and tried to BS my way out of it. Now apparently I was right so I retract my "busted" comment and revert to my original smart-ass response.
dost is second person, so "you dost" is correct. but in third person it is "he/she doth". i do you dost she doth or we could talk about basketball.
We all got off on that tangent...Glad I could prove you were wrong about being right about being wrong...I think...
I'm a LSU basketball fan and damn proud of it. What is it with you? Tiger fan shares info on our basketball team & the forum is for LSU fan. It is not about the UneducatedLSUJerk. I'm sorried that has to be mentioned.
