BB, I apologize, but results don't = class. Brady could go undefeated, and his nature will be such that I'd dislike him. He reminds me of the parent/coach who yells out instructions from the bleachers during rec league baseball games...telling his son to swing away when the coach has on the bunt... The kind of guy that will rip his own players in the MEDIA in the heat of a tough loss at home...Who will excuse the absolute THUGGISH behavior of his own recruits, and who comes up with amazing stats like, "We shot the ball more when we were successful, and we didn't shoot as much when we were unsuccessful." I'm sorry, but I can tell you this guy might make noise in the NCAA. He's got a lineup that has hopefully matured...But you know when it comes to winning, he will sacrifice his integrity and the prestige of the program to put players like Jamie Lloreda on the court in the name of his job. Everyone wanted to excuse his off season thuggery and the previous seasons transgressions, then blame him for our faltering...When in reality, Brady bore the blame... You guys can get sick of it...But you can't undo the truth, and you cannot bury the past...John Brady is on the hook for the dismal underachieving of the LSU Hoops team... Having said all of that...I hope they do well this year...I just hope that they do it in spite of John Brady...

You act like Lloreda raped old women and pillaged our communities. The only regret I have about Jaime is that he got hurt and left the team, keeping us from completing a fairly successful season. I am not aware of any "transgression" which would have warranted Brady banishing him to the scrap heap. The guy was a hell of a player and not a career criminal. Did he emabarrass you in front of a chick or something?
Geezus...he broke the jaw of a teammate whose father was about to arrange a SERIOUS donation....SERIOUS... I have said this time and time again...You don't create team chemistry by allowing guys to pysically assault others in the offseason...You don't create unity by allowing him back with the "tough love" of sitting him versus Double Pump All-Stars & EA Sports and the And 1 mix tape tour. You don't create unity by allowing a guy to go after opposing teams players, elbowing them in the head and getting called for flagrant fouls... You don't create prestige and team pride by letting a guy on who during a run on the road at Florida when the home team calls a timeout, goes back to the bench and shows his (cl)ass by gesturing the "choke symbol" to the fans and then yells something to them in a foreign language...A guy who gets a flagrant foul and goes after a guys head with his elbow at home against the same team the year before on the first occassion his parents come from Panama to see him play.... You definitely don't call a season successful which was built on this low character thug's back...Because without all the integrity sacrifices that Brady made to keep this thug on the team, you have NOTHING to stand on when speaking of a "fairly successful" season. The guy has shown that he will sacrifice integrity, character, and even the benefit of the University in terms of SERIOUS donations from big companies and corporations all in a vain attempt to save his hide and his coaching career.
hey TE, when the season starts, and me and the other fans start getting excited, and talking LSU basketball, are you gonna remind us in every thread that you hate brady? i dunno if you know this, but we are already aware of where you stand, and why.
That is what bothers me about his opinions concerning LSU basketball. He tries to hijack every basketball thread and repeat the same tired stuff. I am ready to see this team play and plan on making most of the home games again this year. martin, do you ever get a chance to come back down to BR and see any LSU games, football or basketball?
