Re: Fans to involved in a program? Half page ad in today's Ark Democrat-Gazette I guess what I meant was they need to have Mcfadden and Jones in the game at the same time as much as possible. Not necessarily the "wildcat" formation. It's kinda like what the Saints are doing with Reggie and Dmac. If you use them as distractions it will help out your QB situation greatly.
Re: Fans to involved in a program? Half page ad in today's Ark Democrat-Gazette Probably part of the problem Arkansas will have with the wildcat is that it relies so much on WRs blocking to get the back with the ball to the outside. The only way they can consistently do that (especially against DEs, LBs or corners) is to hold or block in the back. (Which happened quite a bit this season anyway, but wasn't called much.) I believe the SEC officials will be made more aware of this and may call it a bit more closely next year.
Re: Fans to involved in a program? Half page ad in today's Ark Democrat-Gazette Razorback football is like a Presidential election. It happens once every four years!
Re: Fans to involved in a program? Half page ad in today's Ark Democrat-Gazette I have to disagree. I do not think you can win a championship being one dimensional. A team that has cover corners can go man to man and put 9 guys in the box and slow you down. When you get behind, you are sunk. NOW, having said that, I do believe you are correct if you are insinuating that for Ark to win 10 games is an amazing feet, and they should be completely happy with their one season in the spotlight. (I seem to remember an Ole Miss school who was unhappy with winning seasons and minor bowl games, the best their school should ever hope for. They fired a pretty good coach over there. But I am sure they are thrilled with the results!).

Guys, just wanted to update this situation. I have been hearing for a day now that Nutt's days in Arkansas are done. Thought it was probably just another msg. board rumor, though. Last night, I was talking to a friend who's dad runs in the same high-money circles of the big guys in Fayetteville (Jim Lindsey, Tyson, and a few others). I trust this guy. He tells me: 1. Nutt is gone 2. Broyles stays, but shuffled into a fundraising/figurehead position 3. Effort are being made to bring Butch Davis in, although it's still a long shot. Official word's supposedly coming out Tuesday. Take it for what it's worth, which may not be much.
Quoted for posterity! It'll be interesting to see it if it does happen. I personally like Nutt where he is, but then again I'm an LSU fan.
50 Akry fans went to protest Nutt and AD today. Shouldnt there have been more. One of the protestors said that fans had no say so and they want integrity for the program. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=2741814
