For you guys that signed up (and there were quite a few), the weekly pick'em games are up and ready for you to submit. Just go to the homepage (www.fanspoll.com) and login with the same userID and password you use for the forums. It'll take you to your team page where you can enter your picks. And remember, you get an entry for the Tahoe drawing every week that you submit your pick'ems!

Um, because a few dozen of your fellow Bayou Bengals signed up and I thought they'd like to know the pick'em game was ready to go...and because there might be others who want to get in. Judging by the LSU fans that did sign up today, I'd say I was probably right.

Instead of relying on your site to get attention through actual work and/or interest you spammed just about every single message board on this earth in hopes of getting any and everyone. Good job, your poll is still a joke.

 

No actually, I did the exact opposite of spamming. I personally contacted each and every board's moderator or admin and asked permission to post something about it. If I didn't hear back or they said no, I didn't post it. Get your facts straight.

And while there are some other people who have glommed on to this idea, none of them have taken off like this one has in two short weeks. Not even close.

So, if you don't want to participate, don't. When you see this thread being bounced up to the top because someone has a question or there might be some news of interest to those involved, don't click it. It's really a simple concept. You might think it's a joke, but evidently, a whole lot of other folks don't and we're going to have fun with it this year.

Well, like I said, since I got explicit permission for every post I've made, I'd have to start spamming because nothing I've done so far fits the definition. But think whatever blows your skirt up. I'll have fun with the more than 1400 fans from over 90 different schools so far (in just two weeks since the launch) and you can laugh and feel smug. Won't be any skin off my nose.
