A RB.... Who is a tough question...I think it would have to be Bell if not for 2 game suspension. I may take him at #3 anyway. Lacy, Peterson, Bell, or Charles.... Is it a positive or negative that Peterson has had extended rest? Think Lacy is safest pick...been durable. Charles is worthy as well. Should Lynch be in discussion?
I was thinking of taking a chance on Jeremy Hill or OBJ. I want them and neither will be there if I take someone else.
You could get both if u swapped to the end of the 1st round, not sure if your league allows pre-draft trades. If u have 12 teams standard then the adp for hill is #13 and odb is #14. Or make a trade after the draft for them and get more value.
ADP for Rogers #20, manning #40, and Brees #60. Unless your league scoops up all QBS in round 1 for some reason you should be able to get at least one of those 3 with your second pick. Only leagues I have seen QBS come off the board that early are the ones that start 2 QBS each week.
I haven't played FF near as much as you have but the times I played it was 1 point for every 20 yards by a QB and 1 point for every 10 by a RB or WR. I would rather have a QB who throws for over 4000 yards and 35 TDs than an RB who runs for 1000 and 10 TDs. There are very few elite RBs in the NFL. With Peterson sitting out a year you don't know if he will regain his former form and Murray with a new team is a big question mark.
True but you can only start one QB and up to 3 RBS each week. Also the spread of points per game of the top QB to say the 6th-10th QB isn't that big. Last year Rodgers scored about 60 points more than Brees for the year and Brees had the 6th most points for QB. That is only a handful of points per game. Rodgers scored 75 more points than Tannehill who was 9th and he was one of the last QBS taken in drafts last year. See the value... If your top pick qb gets injuried then where is your depth that the RBs and wrs can't help you. Usually 1 point for 25 yards. You said it...RB workhorses are few even more these days. That is the other major reason they are scooped up 1st.
My little boy has about 20 fantasy teams and growing because he wants OBJ, Hill and Landry on the same team. He gets mad when people draft one of them before he can. Pretty funny
