  2. I think he was being tongue in cheek, or in Beamer's case is that technically tongue in neck?

  3. If we are going to do this the first guy I would want to check out is James Franklin. If he's not interested I would rather gamble on the next great coach than a Fisher or Cutcliffe or trying to steal some other established coach. I would try the Houston coach first; then the Memphis guy
  4. Tom Herman, my early choice.

  5. James Franklin is my first choice
  6. "Steal" Hugh Freeze...............
  7. I would take Cutcliffe. No way in hell Duke should be succeeding at their current level. He also led Ole Miss to 5 straight winning seasons after resurrecting that program from the dead. He is well known for developing QBs (Peyton and Eli Manning).

    Recruiting Rankings:

    2015: 62
    2014: 58
    2013: 68
    2012: 52
    2011: 77
    2010: 72

They have gone 25-13 in the last 3 seasons. With that recruiting, they should not even be competitive, much less winning nearly 2 out of every 3 of their games.

The downside is he is 61 years old.
