Don't think so. Very reluctant to hire a Saban DC.

Don't let the Muschamp thing scare you away. Saban isn't the same guy he was at LSU, he is allowing his coordinators to do a lot more now than he used to.

I'd really want him because I think he is basically the next coach at Alabama.

    Miles isn't a HC-dc.

back when Miles was hired I checked out the blogs for OK State - all said he was fun, a drinking buddy etc but it was overwhelming the fans were happy to see him geaux. Said he'd be full of cliche's, have a pet phrase "let er rip" and couldn't make or refuse to make adjustments, brain dead during the game. First game at Tiger Stadium the moron wears a single ear headset like Madonna. Saw a game where he was on the sidelines whining about a call and behind him you could see two assistant coaches frantically calling for time out - Miles was and is consistently several ticks behind the game and doesn't think forward, unless he's plotting a trick play. I don't expect miracles but to be stomped two games in a row and just not be prepared - that's not what LSU needs or the players deserve.

Why? I do think smart would be better than muschump, but I wouldn't say I'm confident.

But the defense since he has been here hasn't been the issue. Offense has so Tirk is saying an offense minded HC would likely be the hire because of the starvation for offense in the Red Stick.
