I did not know Williams had changed its nickname. They had always been the "Ephmen" (pronounced eef-men), but within the last few years had changed their name simply to the "Ephs" because the women made a fuss. I guess they couldn't be the Ephwomen. So a century of tradition went down the drain. Williams big rival is Amherst College who are, of course, the Lord Jeffs.
I know the purple cows are a mascot, but it might be the unoffical mascot, like the war eagle or whatever AU is calling themselves these days.
