The Evil Dead. I don't know what the budget was, but it looks like it was made by film students. It was so good though that they made Evil Dead II, which wasn't really a "sequel", more like a re-make with a budget.
Pretty sure it was low budget and in my opinion, the WORST MOVIE IN HISTORY: Blair Witch Project. Two hours of my life that I can never get back....:nope:
