I'd have to say the 2000 Peach Bowl against GT. Special day, what an ending. A close second was the 2001 SEC Title game against UT. What loyal fans the Tigers have, outnumbered 4-1 by UT fans they were twice as loud thru the whole game. It was a blast!

Been so long ago I can't remember the year (too lazy to look it up) LSU 28 Notre Dame 7. Bert Jones first start at QB for the Tigers. Saw Andy Hamilton (LSU wr) fake a ND All american cb out of his jock in the end zone, caught a TD pass. ND had a first and goal inside the 5 yd line and didn't score. God it was beautiful! :thumb:

He has actually become a quite well known QB in the Arena Leagues...

Not like the real Arena league, but the smaller one:

HE was like MVP with the Bayou Bucks

I second that as my favorite. I do believe despite the debacle in the late 90's was a start for big upward trend for our program. Heck the 96 gumbo had dedicated I think three pages to that particular game. I still remember twilly at the end of the game. Florida 97 and the 04 Sugar Bowl was obviously something special, but the 95 Auburn game is still my favorite.

That was the loudest Tiger Stadium I've heard from start to finish.

    Oregon St. - 2004.

That game started off so well, the raising of the "National Champion" banner for the first time as the band played - goosebumps man. Then it rained for over an hour, hard. I sat soaking wet with jeans on that must have weighed 30 pounds and watched the Tigers fall down, fumble, miss tackles and the like for 3.75 quarters. Could have heard a pindrop for most of the game as the whole stadium has this "Are we really going to lose to this team at home in the first game after winning it all?" Still, nobody left. The missed PATs kept us in the game. We had one last chance.....touchdown! Everyone goes nuts and then calms down a little - we have to get the 2 pt. and tie it up. Russell scrambles around, nobody open, he runs for it, he got it! Now it's louder than a KISS concert, everyone comes alive. Then overtime: No way this guy misses a third one in a game, he duffs it! Crowd goes nuts! I lose my voice! It doesn't matter that I'm soaking wet and cold anymore. So much fun.

Add that to the fact that I travelled a very long way to be there and my girlfriend and I got a closeup on ESPN cheering. I'll never forget it.

Played in the Pro Indoor Football League with the Houma Bucks, but then one day before a game in Lake Charles if I remember right, he didn't show up. Apparently, his mother was sick and he left to be with her but there was a ton of controversey surrounding that and he never played for Houma again. Haven't heard anything about him since.

my favorite game was the Tenn. overtime win. I still have my rally rag saved in a zip lock bag. Rohan was a warrior in that game.
