Can we make an All-Name team?

    Offense:
Quarterback - Yelverton Abraham Tittle, Jeff Wickersham
Running Back - Hokie Gajan, Joe Labruzzo, Gwain DiBetta
Tight End - Nicky Savoie, Joe Domingeaux, David LaFleur
    Receivers - Brett Bech
O-Line - Monk Guillot, Milton Trosclair, Remi Prudhomme, Nacho Albergamo, Ruffin Rodrigue, Tyler Lafauci

    Defense:
D-Line - Benji Thibodeaux, George Atiyeh, Buggar McFarland, Chad Lavalais
Linebackers - Mark Ippolito, Treverance Faulk, Warren Capone
Secondary - Dimetrius Hookfin, Tommy Cassanova, Liffort Hobley, Clearence LaBlanc
    Kick Returns - Sammy Grezzafi

    Holder - Blain Bech
    K- Andre Lafleur

And a fine team that would be! Thanks to all the Tigers who've worn the purple and gold and given us fans such great memories.

Thanks for the help, I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did. A nice trip down memory lane, for a Sunday in the off season. Man, Y.A. Tittle at QB, that's a reach back to the 40's. Feel free to brush up the list if you'd like. I was focused on football, but if you went all sports, then certainly Shaq has gotta be there. If you want to do a basketball and baseball team, by all means go for it.

Some of you might recall the Charlie Mac TV program. He often discussed some of his players Tad McNaulty (Thad Minaldi) and Cholly Alexandria (Charles Alexander) and a few others.

I had a seat right behind the LSU bench during the Oregon St. game in 2004. I was tanked and I saw that we had a player called Hercules (#23). I yelled at Saban and the other coaches for nearly an hour to put Hercules in. Didn't happen, don't even know what position he played. Never got that kid's first name.

If we're going for Cajun names--from our current Tigers: Alley Broussard and Ryan Perriloux.
