Nearest place I know is in Brookhaven. Don't remember the name of it. I haven't been there since I was on the way home the last time LSU played the Rebellious Black Bears in Jackson.

No good BBQ in BR. You'll have to light the pit in the back yard if you want anything better than cafeteria quality.

On a street that exist I-10. Only ate there once but it was real good. Lots of pictures of Archie Manning and Jerry Clower on the walls.

An even better place is Interstate Barbecue in Memphis.

Their fajita marinade is the best. I like the salsa there also.

    Tacos Habana at Mi Cocina.

Kung Pao Chicken at Genroku in Richardson.

Barbecue Shrimp at Mr. B's in the French Quarter.

Muffaletta at Central Grocery (when there is not a big event going on in the Quarter)

Lamb Gyro Falafel at the Halal Guys Food Truck on 53rd and 6th in NYC. Late at night after a long day.

Get in your car and head to "The Shed", north off I-10 in Ocean Springs MS. Not that far of a drive.

BTW, has anybody been to Voodoo BBQ in BR? I like the original VooDoo on St.Charles Ave in New Orleans, but have never tried the remote locations.

    Had this today.

Brought a friend to the Airport in New Orleans and came back to BR by way of the Northshore route. Stopped in Covington on the way back. Just barely made it there by 3pm closing time.............

    With a Barq's Root Beer.

I've been told by multiple individual's that the Muff at the Napoleon House is better than the one's at Central. Haven't been to Napoleon House, so can't confirm this.

    Has anybody on here?..................................

Pimanyoli's on Airline is the best option in BR. However, I really go there to get their Tamales. Odd I know.

The 2 best spots for tamales in town and one is a BBQ joint and the other is a steak joint (Doe's Eat Place)

Been the the one on Jefferson and Drusilla a few times. Decent but there is no great barbecue in Baton Rouge.
