Well they had been in contact with him for months; served a subpoena in February and removed some. When they learned Trump was lying (big surprise) and holding on to sensitive documents the were forced to file the warrant.
Why does he need to? This looks really bad for the DOJ, you know, the one I told you was corrupt as can be and now they are trying to walk it back. Trump does not need to help them. Never get in the way of the enemy destroying itself.
He doesn’t have a copy. The affidavit is sealed and if you read any news at all, you would know Trumps lawyers have requested such. What is the FBI hiding? Are they too scared to let the public know?
