Poor JR....an exciting day for him was tainted w/ the RP story. Everytime a reporter stated that JR was going pro, it was immediately followed by the report that Perilloux is being investigated by the feds. Kinda takes away from JR's big day.
Yeah, you're right. Picking him 1st overall would be a great payday for him and great for his confidence, but playing for Oakland wouldn't be the best environment for him as a professional. I would much rather he played in Detroit. Whatever happens, I wish him the best...and he will be my favorite non-Saint player in the NFL, no doubt.
