    Don't forget that the ground up rubber pieces do get kicked up into the players' eyes. But nothing like good ole natural grass that gets stuck in facemasks. Remember UF QB Doug Johnson's face mask back in '97? That always looks impressive, getting off the ground after you've been sacked and a teamate has to pull Tiger Stadium off your face.:lsup: :geauxtige

    This sounds like a commercial for Tide. :wink:

    Seriously, I have never heard that football players would rather play on an artificail surface. Links like this suggest completely the opposite.
