Final Four Congrats

Congrats on making the Final 4. It was a nail biter until LSU blew it open at the end. We had company for dinner and we sat down to eat with about one minute left in the game. I kept getting up to watch. That final minute took forever. Then I moaned as it went into OT. People started asking if Auburn was playing. I said are you kidding this it the Final 8 in the NCAA Tourney. Then they asked who I was pulling for. They were surprised I said LSU. They said I thought you didn't like LSU. I said that's only one day a year and it's in FB. I explained it was the SEC vs. the Big 12.:thumb:

Thewn they asked if I would pull for bama if they were playing. I just said let's don't go there (there was a bama fan present and I didn't want to be rude to company.)

Anyhow great win. I hope you get two more congrats from me.

You're a better man than me, I pretty much spew my venom towards Auburn anytime I get. Although I do make exceptions when it is something like thisFinal 4 or a bowl game.

Thank for the congrats and I can say that there is at least one person associated with Auburn that I don't hate.

This is the way it should be.

Very competitive and pull for your team but when its outside your conference we all pull for each other.

I always pull for other SEC teams against out of conference teams.

I'm afraid that's wishful thinking. Our baseball team is offf to a bad start.
But our men swimmers won their 4th straight NC this weekend while the women won it for the 3rd time in 4 years. That gives swim coach David Marsh
10NCs. Anyone know if another coach has ever won that many?

I know, I know...... it's swimming. But hey I have to have something to crow about don't I?

Maybe LSU can pull it off and both men and women win the basketball NC this year.

In a little basketball news, I read this morning that it looks like UAB coach Anderson is going to be the new HC at Missouri.

 

I guess we all have one or two good guys huh?:grin:

Heck I even have a couple of bama friends, one being my oldest daughter.:lol:
