Auburn sure gets a lot of attention here for no one to care. Why don't you admit you really love us   No need to answer, I know already. The trophy is a good idea. You got my vote. :thumb:
Rick Tellshow is a fairly well known BCS guru, even though he may not be much of a web developer. That is the same forumula that the BCS used last year. He is right.
Rick Tellshow is extremely highly regarded among those in the know. Don't look at the URL and piss it away immediately!
True. Rick Tellshow was saying LSU could pass USC in the BCS in 2003 well before the better-known Jerry Palm ever did. It's definitely legit. He knows his stuff.
What's the exact link to SOS? I'm just wondering why the NCAA's numbers differ so much from Rick Tellshow's.
Here is the direct link to the NCAA numbers...its a pdf... http://web1.ncaa.org/d1mfb/Internet/toughest%20schedule/ia_9games_cumm.pdf The NCAA does their schedule rankings directly from opponents records. Rankings don't matter, and neither do opponents of opponents records. I saw on another thread (not sure which one so i'll just put it here) someone was asking for official attendance figures. Here is the link to official attendance. http://www.ncaa.org/stats/football/attendance/2003/2003footballattendance.pdf The SEC was first in total attendance averaging 74,000 a game, followed by the Big 10 averaging 70,000. Third place as the Big 12 with 56,000. As far as individual schools go. LSU was 6th and Auburn was 8th.
USC is 16th in the nation WITH a positive change in the average by over 10,000... That's just sad... It takes the possibility of a national championship for them to go to the games... (5 of top ten are SEC....):thumb:
Well, actually you started this conversation on our website, so you are really a closet LSU fan! :helmet: :geaux: :champs:
