1. I thought Hester was the second most impressive back even though it is hard to put him ahead of Addai, but Hester just looks so darn fluid, powerful and quick. He will be used more and more in some capacity as the season goes along. He has great hans and may get more touches as a receiver.

    FUMBLES: Mississippi State-Brandon Wright 1-1. LSU-Shyrone Carey 1-0;
Craig Davis 1-1; Justin Vincent 1-1; TEAM 1-1; JaMarcus Russel 1-1.

This is on the official LSU stats. The team fumble was what? Are they calling the missed handoff a team fumble and the subsequent pick up and drop by Vincent the other one?
  2. Ain't that the truth. We will not be facing a quarterback that throws 4 completions and 3 interceptions.

Not questioning your right to bitch, amigo. You're the best bitcher on the board and the antidote to those folks that only try to pump sunshine up our chute.

But I disagree with you on benching Vincent.
  3. The team fumble was the punt that hit Daniel Francis in the back.

JV only had one fumble. While I think Broussard deserves more carries based on his play to date, I think utilizing all of our RB's is the way to go. Fresh legs and different running styles, and they are all good enough to be effective.
  4. Thanks DJ, I forgot about that one.
  5. 5 fumbles in the game ... 4 were TURNOVERS ...

Two of the turnovers were inside the MSU 5 ... Vincent and Russell guilty

Another was credited to Carey on the punt ... as it should be ... he should have fair caught the ball

On an early game drive ... Buster Davis ended it with a Turnover (fumble) ... But on the first play of that drive ... Vincent made a 17 yard pickup on a pass play and fumbled ... but there was no turnover ...

I have the link to prove it ... Vincent was credited with 2 fumbles ... and that's two too many with GA next week ...
  6. Really? I'd like to see that link because every other site has JV only with one fumble. And I watched the game and only saw one JV fumble, I'm starting to doubt you even watch the games.
  7. Yall can call me crazy, but the only reason Vincent doesn't seem as exciting as he did last year is because the O-Line still needs work. He will not gain much if he's gotta make cuts before he even gets to the line which is exactly what's been happening... Broussard is a bigger, power-runner type guy who just steam-rolls people. I like that too.. But if the O-Line improves not only will Vincent seem to be better, but both of the QB's will look alot better than they have been as well...
  8. there must be an echo in here? I posted this same thing back on page 2? 1 maYBE?

    good observation :thumb:
  9. OOps... Still shaking the cobwebs off from yesterday....
  10. Ramah's too busy running from his bookie to watch the games. His "weekly picks" are for the birds.

Ramah give us your BCS prediction! LOLOLOLOL

LSU will beat UGA with both JV and AB running the ball.

JV, like DD, is better on astroplay and fieldturf.

Saban and Fisher will have this team ready to play. Both Randalll and Russell need to show up big.

Ramah, You better have those slurpee machines ready!
