Bhelm any reason why we would not be going after Trea Elston a 4*S from Oxford AL? This guy has 4.4 speed and the word is he would not have any problem going out of state. :tigereye:

And whatever happened to the kid from East St. John...Dhaquelle Williams or something like that? Big receiver who's apparently naturally gifted. Before the coach left there he called this kid the best athlete he'd ever coached, even better than Perriloux?

His story was a unique one. He went to a church school or something to that effect, then transferred into East St. John but the school system did not recognize the credits from the other school. So while reportedly being a very bright kid, he had trouble graduating as a result.

IMO it doesnt bode well for Howard if he did indeed cancel a trip to LSU in favor of UF.

Hopefully LSU pulls out all the tricks to pull Edwards in. He would be a great fit at LSU. Lining up along side the Freak.

Losing a big OL like Miller hurts. Does LSU have any other quality, uncommitted OL on their recruiting board that they will go after to replace the loss of Miller. I know we have a good stable of young OL, but you can never have enough big nasty's in waiting.

I don't agree on the Howard part. The fact is that he would only be pushing back the LSU visit. Meaning LSU would be his last visit. No big deal, would make LSU more fresh in his mind come NSD imo.

Ace if you look in my 2012 Numbers thread, I talk about the OL. The Srs. we have for next year PJ, Hurst and Branch. Jrs. are Davenport, Williford and Faulk. Sophs are Collins and Washington. The RSF White, Turner and Austin will add to depth. Alexander coming in as an EE helps for his look in Spring. Josh D should get another year, thats the word I'm getting. Along with the verbals, this looks very good for a few more years.

Yea I agree somewhat. While it is nice to get his last visit in this case I would want more time to persuade him after visiting because he hasn't been here before. Either way Avery Johnson will be on him in UF this weekend. Going with some friends for a free visit.

So with the Hill commitment and now Phillips...correct me if I am wrong but that puts us at 21? We are a really, really long shot to land Howard or Edwards, to who are the targets out there and who are the potential surprises that mabye we haven't heard a lot about?

I think I speak for most in that I'm somewhat concerned about how this class is rounding out and whom we lost (Miller and Kiel).

    ParadiseiNC don't worry, be happy

No, with all due respect, I doubt you do. Personally, I am not "worried." Disappointed about Kiel, yes. Interested in recruiting overall, yes. Worried about the #1 team who went 13-0 in the regular season with phenomenal talent returning, and a coaching staff who has a proven track record in recruiting, no. Just step away from the ledge, let Bhelm, DadLSU, assignupee, et al keep us abreast of all the recruiting going ons, let signing day get here, and all will be well my friend.

We have 21 on board with Hill and Phillips.

I think we'll end up with a couple of 4 star surprises and probably end up 1 or 2 short of the 25. We don't have to sign 25 necessarily. In fact, I hope we don't.
