Seriously, that was a hell of a defensive game plan. If we shoot 45% and make our free throws, it's over with 7 minutes left.
Obviously the ACC and Duke wasn't as good as the past. This Duke is the worst Duke team I ever saw play, Chrisitian Latner's Duke team would've run circles around this team tonight. Having said that I couldn't be more happy than to beat a Duke team. Our team could've played a little better like hitting free throws but that is the finest defensive effort I think I've ever seen in a basketball game. I just hope Garrett Temple is ok after he cools down. Take that game tonight ESPN, Dickie V and your beloved ACC took another hit tonight!
tyrus thomas is probably the most exciting player to watch in basketball. I think his lack of a jumpshot will keep him at LSU for atleast one more year but after this game he will no longer just be the sec secret.
I too was surprised by Duke's lack of fundamentals. Letting TT go on that breakaway and not blocking out for the FT rebounds were not typical Duke. And... You gotta give Brady credit. He won a big one. :geauxtige
Give Brady credit? How long have you been an LSU fan? It clearly states on page 4 of the LSU fan handbook that you NEVER give Brady credit. John Brady is the only coach in America who will NEVER get the credit he's due from his own fans regardless of what he accomplishes.
i think my favorite part of the game was when big baby was on the free throw line and brady called everyone else back on defense and baby got his own rebound with 4 duke players around him. There is no way that shoulda happened.....
yeah horrible duke team that was the number one seed in the country in the tournament... what a comment...
Hell, just take away a few very, very silly turnovers and the same thing would have happened. That's the thing, we didn't exactly play pretty. Of course, we haven't made a habit of that lately.
