Well, in the heat of the moment with no premeditated thought, he stuck a knee out and tripped the guy. He's suspended for the season but in an instantaneous act of aggression by an ex football player, his coaching life may be ruined. I'm willing to cut him some slack because I don't think he will ever do that again.
