    A minor correction. OU has the longest winning streak with 47, but it was 1953 -1957 during the Bud Wilkinson era.

    I wasnt thinking obviously.:dis: But do they have the longest winning streak within this decade during the regular season? I guess that is what I get for relying on an OU fan for the answers. In his defense he probably said we have the longest winning streak in recent history and then started ranting about the longest in history.

    He still isn't correct. OU had a 19 game regular season win streak during the 1999 - 2001 seasons. Both USC & the Miami Hurricanes have had longer win streaks during the past decade.

    I didn't read it that way. Hard to fathom how what happened 50 years ago would influence their ranking during the past decade. ND ended the streak.
