kids been beggin to get on the water and finally got a day we were all off together so off we went. calm nice day but real foggy so had to take it slow but in the one and only stop they threw a nice pile of white trout and ground mullet in the box. Then just pulled up on island and let em play a while. Almost 20 years old now the old boat still lookin decent enough. Top tore up in Zeta which it was about shot anyways so debating now getting another canvas made for it or just throw a sheet of aluminum up there and weld it down.

Instead of welding a sheet of aluminum why don't you fit a tarp to it and rig it with some kind of plastic hooks and very short bungee cords. It would be really easy to put on and take off.

Unless you get a billboard tarp, that Tractor Supply, or Walmart tarp would rip almost immediately.

Nah I don’t want anything removable. Been wanting to go with a hard top anyways so can get on top of it watch for cobia etc. I have plenty aluminum sheet and can weld it all myself so it ain’t no big deal.

If you catch too many of those cobia I'll be glad to take a couple of them off your hands.
