Crimson Tide----> Honestly, the color distinction is the only way I can differentiate between Alabama and Tulane. Tide and Wave are too close. I'm glad they both went with color adjectives.

And how many are there in the SEC again? Two, but only one that is worth a damn.

As is with many things in the world pretenders, those with great ideas, and those who want to be great will copy those that are great and the leaders. In this case when one considers the LSU TIGERS are the only program with a real Tiger it is obvious who is king.

Crimson tide sounds like a slogan from a tampax commercial.

Actually, if you have a lot of idle time on your hands and did some sincere but meaningless research, it seems that Missouri has the edge with longevity with the barn adding to the repetition. Some would suggest Princeton has even longer success as yet another Tiger. This list is not to be diluted with such luminaries over history such as Tiger Woods or even Tony the Tiger.

Eagle is the greatest repeat offender at (76) Tiger comes in second at (46), sorry found one more. Bulldogs (39) Panthers (33)

Needless to say, Alabama would have top priority as well as seniority with the "Crimson Tide."

It's nice but few people put much stock in pre-season polls.

So what's the deal with the elephant? You Alabama people need to come up with a mascot and stick with it.

The team has been pretty busy these days soliciting community donations. At current attrition and success rate, should be a while before they make it to T-Town.
